- our story -
Alanko old cowhouse
Alanko started as a cowhouse and was eventually converted into a multipurpose use beginning 2020 with careful consideration to preserving the historic integrity as well as being corporate responsible to cater for the needs of our customers.
We combined the design and innovation to ensure it met the current strict Finnish building regulations.
Careful care has also been made to preserve the old buildings and the environment with the best and latest green thermal systems and employing the services of local contractors who are environmentally conscious.
Alanko is located about 17 km north of Tornio in the village of Kourilehto, on the Liakanjoki river. The building was completed the same time Finland became independent on the 6th of December 1917.
